Nailberry Cadenzza Interview

Nailberry Cadenzza Interview

We are excited to announce that we are collaborating with Cadenzza this month, a luxury fashion jewellery brand which is part of the Swarovski group. Cadenzza have a fabulous flagship store in Covent Garden amongst another 6 stores in the UK. Throughout the month of May customers spending £150 in store will receive a gift box with 2 Nailberry nail vanishes of their choice from a selected range.

We decided to catch up with Elisabeth Stark, Cadenzza’s Marketing Director, to discuss our exciting collaboration with them.

1.Hi Elisabeth, so tell us the story behind Cadenzza?

3 years ago, Swarovski decided to go for a new retail concept showcasing the most beautiful jewellery designs from around the world. Jewellery is fast becoming the most important accessory for women as it underlines and expresses a person’s individuality and beauty.

2.Why have you chosen Nailberry to collaborate with?

Nailberry’s luxurious range of products sits perfectly with our brand as well as fitting our spring summer trends with shades to suit each collection.

3.If you could pick one Nailberry polish from the collaboration which one would it be and what piece of jewellery would you match it with?

It would be the beautifully soft Mystere varnish worn with our rose gold Polygon collection – the delicate tones would work well with a crisp, all-white look for day

4.Coco Chanel once said ‘before leaving the house, a lady should look in the mirror and remove one accessory’. On average how many pieces of jewellery should you wear with an outfit?

It is true that there is a limit for accessories and especially for statement pieces one should go for either a single bold necklace or statement earrings with slick tailoring.

A very strong trend, especially for this summer, is stacking and mixing delicate jewellery – for this trend you can even go for earstuds or earcuffs, tiny necklaces, a bunch of bangles and fingertip rings. Never too much!

5.We are excited to hear your Covent Garden has had a refurb, which is absolutely beautiful by the way! We love the new window concepts - which designers have been featured?

We are featuring Vivienne Westwood, Versace, Kenzo – as well as our private label, Cadenzza.

6.We love your 2016 Spring Summer campaign that was shot in Marbella, what was the inspiration behind this season’s collection?

The inspiration was (obviously) to show more skin, femininity and evoke a beautiful summery feeling with plenty of emotion to the pictures and to the jewellery.

We also wanted to show that our jewellery is not only intended for elegant evenings, big soirees etc. but for every day!

7.If you could pick one Nailberry colour on your nails to wear forever what would it be?

I would have to pick Almond; it’s timeless, elegant, sophisticated and would be wearable with anything and everything…
